Established a public lending library in a remote part of the Philippines. Managed and performed all necessary tasks including formation of a California Public Benefit Corporation, grassroots fundraising, coordination with local Philippine government, staff hiring, book purchases, solicitation of book donations, bookkeeping and ongoing management. The library began operation in early 1998 and today continues to thrive and grow.
