There is a dire need for books in the Philippines outside of Manila. Books are largely unavailable throughout much of the country. A library has recently been establsihed in Numancia, Aklan. For detailed information, check out the pages for the Numancia Municipal Library.

Kalanduyan, M.A. in Ethnomusicology, 1995 National Heritage Fellow and Artistic Director of the Palabuniyan Music & Dance Ensemble of San Francisco, CA, is a Master Traditional Artist and Performer of Maguindanaon and Maranao Kulintang music.
